Job opportunity: Volunteer Co-ordinator & Recruitment officer

Following recent approval of funding from the Heritage Lottery Fund for the Trust’s 'Onwards & Upwards' project we are seeking to recruit a Volunteer Co-ordinator & Recruitment officer who will assist the Trust with transition to a new sustainable business model. 

The Volunteer Co-ordinator & Recruitment officer will develop and begin implementation of a 5-year strategy for engaging communities, and recruiting and developing volunteers who will be able to support the Trust’s conservation and management aims at its site. This work will include a review and development of the Trust’s current systems and policies for volunteer management.

We are looking for someone who has extensive experience of community engagement, recruiting and supporting volunteers, developing and working with Friends-type groups; and experience of working in the heritage sector.

Salary: full-time fixed term contract for 18 months at an annual salary of £22k

Based: Home based, travel throughout Norfolk
