Job opportunity: Director (job share) Norfolk Archaeological Trust

The Trust seeks to appoint a Director on a job share basis to work alongside the current director, who is taking up a place on a part-time MA course, starting in October 2018. 
This role will be for an initial one year period from October 2018 and will consist of two days (15 hours) per week. 
This role will encompass all aspects of the Director's responsibilities including site management, staff management (currently one full time and one part time post funded by an HLF project); volunteer, member and community engagement, project management, financial performance, and compliance. 
The Council is seeking to appoint a candidate who can deliver a range of knowledge, skills and experience which will include:- 
- a background in and an understanding of building conservation and/or archaeology 
- experience of working with volunteers 
- experience of financial management, including grant applications and project management 
- knowledge of rural land and property management 
- the ability to think strategically, and to recognise and exploit appropriate opportunities 
- excellent organisational, planning and communication skills 
- the ability to inspire, motivate and work in co-operation with a wide range of people, organisations and groups, including volunteers 
- skills in the development and management of stakeholder relationships 
Job Type: Part Time (2 days per week), Fixed term (one year) 
Salary: £30,000 pro rata (i.e. £12k for this post)
