  • Caistor Roman Town Guided tours: Sunday September 10th 2017: 1400 and 1500. Meet your tour guide by the shelter in the Roman Town Car Park.   • Tasburgh: Imagined Land at Tasburgh: The Rehearsal (Tasburgh Village Hall): Saturday 9 September: 1400-1600/ Sunday 10 September: 1400-1600. Come and watch the people of Tasburgh as they gear up for a pageant and celebration of the hill fort site at the centre of the village - the final performance will be on the following weekend. The Village Hall will play host to open rehearsals and a community-created exhibition inspired by the archive and archaeological research findings for the Heritage Lottery Funded Imagined Land Project. No booking required
  • St Benet’s Abbey Free Guided Walks from Ludham Bridge: Saturday 9 September: Tour 1000 & 1400. Meet by the Bridge, Ludham Bridge, Ludham, Norfolk, NR29 5NX [TFOSBA event].Enjoy free guided walks from Ludham Bridge to St Benets Abbey along the recently opened permissive path along the river. Find out about medieval life at the abbey, how monks changed the Broadland landscape and enjoy breathtaking views. Allow 3 hours (approx 3 miles, 4.8 km). Wear stout shoes. Weather permitting.
